These were the words Jessie + Jeff vowed to one another at their beautiful garden wedding ceremony at The Carriage House in St. Augustine, Florida. Jessie + Jeff had a destination wedding with nearly 100 friends and family traveling from Michigan, Oregon and central Florida!
Jessie beautifully intertwined boho vibes with a “backyard wedding” vibe. Everyone there felt like family. Happiness, love and joy radiated as everyone celebrated Jessie + Jeff in their union as husband + wife.
One of the most unique things about their wedding was that the groom wrote the entire ceremony himself. It was filled with memories, inside jokes, and retold their love story.
“From the moment Jeff received the text from David on the afternoon of April 29th, 2016, Jeff has behaved differently then before….the text said “there’ll be a tall, pretty brunette there named Jessica. Introduce yourself.” Jeff didn’t totally stop being shy and awkward at that moment, but meeting Jessica made him less so. He was more forward and determined than usual. He introduced himself that night and engaged her where he’d normally stay silent and hope she showed interest. He sang karaoke. He resisted the urge to go home early. There has always been something about being with Jessie that’s made Jeff different, given him energy and optimism and confidence, made him willing to change himself and be flexible enough to remove impediments to growth for the relationship. An effect that no one before had had on him.”
WOW! “An effect that no one before had had on him” Now those are some powerful words.
It was truly a beautiful day, from start to finish, and we are honored to have been a part of it. Jessie + Jeff, you two are such wonderful people, and your wedding day was a reflection of that. i remember there was a moment at your wedding, during the ceremony, I stopped to look around. EVERYONE was either smiling, laughing or wiping a tear. It felt like every guest was your best friend. Thank you for trusting us with your best day. We hope you visit soon!
