Engagement Session at The Ribault Club | Mariana + Dennis | Jacksonville, Florida

Guess what?!!? Mariana and Dennis are getting married T O M O R R O W !! Mariana and Dennis met at church when they were placed to lead worship together for prayer nights. From the very beginning, they put Jesus first and their relationship totally shows that. They are both very humble people that take pleasure in the little things in life.

When we asked Mariana where they wanted to take their engagement photos, she answered without hesitation “ Our favorite spot in Jacksonville, its actually where we had our first date.” Their first date started off with dinner and then Dennis asked if Mariana wanted to see his favorite spot in Jax, Mariana was intrigued and said yes. Dennis parked on the side of a dirt road and showed Mariana a large fallen tree trunk that was now being used as a bench that overlooked the river. They sat down enjoying the night sky and talked about their lives.

We absolutely love incorporating special memories into engagement sessions and couldnt wait to see this spot.

Dennis was right. It was a spot like no other in Jax (located right outside of The Ribault Club). It didnt even look like it was Jacksonville. Peaceful , secluded, beautiful, are all words that describe this spot. I hope they continue to visit this very spot and are reminded of what attracted them to eachother.

I asked Mariana to tell me the “spark” in their love story and this is what she said “ His love for Jesus was genuine, he showed me a kind of love that was real and always there to raise me up when I was feeling down.”

I asked Dennis What first attracted you to her? and this is what he said “Her love for Jesus. “

They said the same thing!!

To see a young couple so on fire for God is just amazing! Their love for eachother is inspiring and we cant wait to watch them make the greatest commitment two people can make in front of God, all of their friends and family. Mariana and Dennis, the day you’ve been so patiently waiting for is almost here. You’ve done all the planning and now you get to enjoy it all!! We cant wait!!
