Introducing Alexandria and Michael, the classic high school sweethearts whose love story is both timeless and incredibly inspiring.

As many of you know, Jerico and I are also high school sweethearts. So when Alexandria and Michael approached us to capture their wedding, we couldn't help but feel an instant connection—a shared understanding of the magic that comes with finding your soulmate at such a young age. Being high school sweethearts means you get to grow up together, side by side, hand in hand. It's this incredible experience of facing life's ups and downs together, from navigating those awkward teenage years to celebrating major milestones as adults. There's something truly wonderful about having a partner who knows you inside out because they've been there for every step of your journey. You get to witness each other's growth, support each other's dreams, and become stronger together with each passing day. It's this beautiful process of evolving as individuals while simultaneously building a shared life—a journey that's made even more special by the fact that you're doing it with your high school sweetheart by your side.

From the moment we met them, it was clear that Alexandria and Michael shared a bond that was both deep and genuine. Their love wasn't just evident in the way they looked at each other, but in the way they spoke, laughed, and cared for one another. They are the definition of kindness and thoughtfulness, not only to each other but to everyone around them.

When it was time to plan their engagement session, we knew it would be something special. We began their engagement session on the dreamy + picturesque Magnolia Avenue, a road lined with beautiful ancient oak trees and dripping with Spanish moss. And what better way to complement such a scenic setting than with a classic 1960 (dont quote me on the year) black convertible Corvette? Alexandria stunned in a cute white short dress with a long bow train, while Michael looked handsome in his tailored black suit.

The car definitely added an extra touch of vintage glam to the photos, and let me tell you, Alexandria and Michael? They owned it. You would think they are models. They were like something out of a movie, posing effortlessly and radiating pure joy. It was one of those moments where everything just clicked, and the photos turned out absolutely stunning. Trust me, when you see these two in that Corvette, you'll swear they were born to be in front of the camera.

The chemistry between them was undeniable as we walked around Historic Downtown St. Augustine. We stopped to take some photos in front of the Lightner Museum, where their wedding would soon take place. You could practically feel the excitement radiating from Alexandria and Michael. Standing in front of that beautiful venue, they couldn't help but envision the next time they'd be there—it would be their wedding day.

As we wandered down the cobblestone streets of Aviles Avenue, which is actually the oldest street in America, Alexandria and Michael's playful chemistry was on full display. They were like two teenagers in love, stealing glances and sharing inside jokes as we snapped away. Every corner we turned seemed to be another charming backdrop. It was one of those sessions where the magic seemed to linger in the air, and every photo captured a glimpse of their genuine connection. In fact, it was a session that we could have photographed for hours on end. What made it even more special was that Alexandria and Michael didn't even need to pose—they were just naturally adorable together. They could simply stand side by side and it would be a perfect picture.

As we were taking their photos, we couldn't help but feel a sense of privilege to witness such a beautiful love story. It wasn't just about taking photographs; it was about capturing the essence of their relationship—the laughter, the tenderness, the unspoken connection that bound them together.

And now, as their wedding day approaches, we find ourselves filled with excitement. To see these two amazing people + their families come together is a testament to the power of love and the beauty of unity. As someone who found their own forever love at a young age, we consider ourselves lucky to have been a part of their journey, to have witnessed their love story from its early beginnings and cant wait to capture their wedding and hopefully more beautiful milestones in their future.
