ASHLEY + BARRETT | WASHINGTON OAKS STATE GARDEN ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Their friends call them “The couple made for each other”.

Ashley + Barrett met in their freshman year of high school at the age of 14!! They became close friends and spent the next few years experiencing all the joys of High School from sports events, to homecoming, and tons of homework. Two kids who had no idea they just met their future husband/wife.

Barrett and I never questioned if we were meant to be. The obstacles that most couples couldn't overcome we did in the course of our seven year relationship. Barrett and I are so excited to enter this next chapter and be husband and wife.

Ashley + Barrett literally grew up together- how amazing is that?!?

We had such a great time getting to know Ashley + Barrett. As we were walking around Washington Oaks State Garden during their engagement session, we found out that Barrett had not one, not two but three “failed” proposal attempts.

Can you imagine the level of stress Barrett went through. It’s already a lot of pressure but when things like the weather, no access to the location and RED TIDE ruin your plans forcing you to rethink everything and come up with yet another plan.

Sometimes things dont go as we plan but in the end, it all works out. Barrett got his chance to propose to his best friend and she, of course, said YESSS and now here we are, the week of their wedding!!

Ashley + Barrett, we are so excited for your future together. I love that you two have literally grown up together and get to spend the majority of your lives together, thats so special! We cant wait to see you both live out your best day ever.
