Cory + David Engagement Session| Nights of Lights | St. Augustine, Florida

Cory + David’s love story is a reminder that love can be found in the most unexpected places. Whether it's in a classroom, online, or in the everyday moments of life, love has a way of finding us when we least expect it.
They met on the FIRST day of acting class and when the Professor asked them to pick a scene partner, Cory panicked and turned to the person next to her and asked to be partners. Luckily, it was David! Who was thinking, “why is this cute girl talking to me?”
Over the next four years, they became best friends but never dated. Then in Senior year, they realized they didn’t want to graduate college and potentially lose touch or stop seeing each other every day. So David asked Cory out and now we are days away from their wedding day!

Cory + David had always loved the historic charm of St. Augustine and knew that they wanted to incorporate it into their engagement photos. They planned their session during the Nights of Lights, knowing that the twinkling lights would add an extra dose of magic to their photos, not that they needed any extra magic because they brought their own magic.
We started their engagement session in front of The Lightner Museum, which is where they are getting married. We took photos with their sweet bichon/mini poodle pup, named Remy. You gotta see these photos with Remy, the most photogenic pup you’ll ever see!
On our engagement sessions, we jokingly say we give tours around the city, but, its kinda true. We just walk around until we find the perfect light or a perfect spot for photos… which is basically every corner of St. Augustine. On our tour, we took them to the oldest street in America, Aviles Street. Aviles Street is one of the most picturesque and unique streets in the city, featuring cobblestone streets, historic buildings, color blocked walls and even palm trees!
Then, as we were taking photos near the Flagler College, we were rudely interrupted by someone screaming “Absolutely hideous! “ my eyes got big, my jaw dropped “they cant be talking about us!” I quickly looked over and we all realized WHO made the comment… are you ready for this…. it was the the the THE GRINCH!!! It was literally the grinch giving a tour! there is a photo of him driving away! We had a great laugh! The mood went from HUH?! to HAHAHAHA real quick.
Cory + David, we are so excited to celebrate you two becoming husband + wife. We know everything is going to be absolutely beautiful. Thank you again for trusting us with your memories, it’s an honor! Cant wait to see you!!!
