HANNA + JARRED | NIGHTS OF LIGHTS ENGAGEMENT SESSION | ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA

hi!! Hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving and spent some quality time with the people you love most! This time of year is my absolute favorite! great memories, good food, nights of lights, Christmas music, all the proposals and of course, the weddings!! They are a little extra magical during this time.

Have you ever thought about the odds of meeting someone… of all the people in the world, you meet the few thousands that cross paths (about 10,000 in a lifetime) with you and only truly connect with a few hundred. insert mindblown emoji.

Out of 60, 000 students at UCF (go Knights!), Hanna + Jarred’s paths crossed and they pretty much connected immediately.

“We kept telling ourselves it was nothing serious… until I told him I watched the show Smallville growing up. Turns out we both loved the show and had never met anyone else who had.It sounds dumb, but it was the moment we both realized how similar we were. We then binge watched all 10 seasons of the show together as we slowly eased into a relationship.”

I love the Smallville connection they have. Although I’m pretty sure there are other people that have seen the show, that connection was the * sign * they needed, and that’s all that matters!! ( personally, I haven’t see the show so the statement remains accurate ;D )

I asked both Hanna and Jarred what they love most about eachother and here’s what they had to say.. it’s so sweet!

“His ability to get along with anyone and everyone. Before meeting him, I was very quiet and to myself and he brought me out of my shell and makes sure it is never awkward at gatherings considering he could talk to a wall.. His love for me is uncanny, he always makes me feel loved and wanted.”

“her sense of humor is just like mine we can spend hours laughing at the same stuff and think in such a similar way. I love how laid back she is (except when choosing where to eat lol). I love how hard she works at her job. It’s very inspiring to see her do so well and to have a passion for succeeding.”

I mean, can you think of a better pair?! I cant!!

Throughout their relationship, Hanna + Jarred have traveled to a few places, however, St. Augustine stood out to them and quickly became a favorite. So when it was time to think of where they were going to get married, it was a “no brainer”.

We started their session in the historic alleys on St. Augustine and then around 4:30 pm, the magic happened.. that’s right, the million of twinkly lights known as Nights of Lights turned on and created an even more romantic environment.

Nights of Lights has been listed among the top ten holiday light displays in the world by National Geographic. During this festival of lights, downtown St. Augustine glows with holiday magic – from the ground to the rooftops. St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights features millions of tiny white lights that create a magical atmosphere in the Nation’s Oldest City, and it's free of charge. It happens every night from November 19, 2022 until January 31, 2023.

I’m so excited that they are getting married during nights of lights as well!!
