WASHINGTON OAKS STATE GARDEN | ENGAGEMENT SESSION | ERIKA + CHRISTIAN

It took us a little over a week to realize we were in love.

Yeaaaaa! Yall get ready for this one. It’s a special one. Erika + Christian’s story is like a fairytale. Its just so deep + sincere from day 1. They met at a friends house during a birthday party. THAT VERY SAME DAY, Christian asked for Erika’s phone number and set up their first date for the next day.

They decided to grab coffee + breakfast at First Watch and before they knew it, their table was being cleared because they were there for over 3 hours!! They knew the date couldn’t end quite yet, so like the smart people they are, they decided to wander around Target for a few hours. Unfortunately, the date had to come to an end but as they were saying their good-byes (Christian actually didn’t live in Jax and had a 5 hour drive home) but they decided to pursue a long distance relationship!!!

It was immediately as if we had met our missing piece. Everything fell into place with us. The more we got to know each other, the more we realized how many times our paths had crossed in the past without us ever meeting and how many times as adults our paths we’re suppose to cross. It felt like destiny.

After chatting with Erika a little, I recommended Washington Oaks State Garden as a location for their engagement session. It’s private, beautiful and nothing like anything we have in Jax.

We were blown away once we stepped foot into this garden! You picked such a beautiful location and captured us so wonderfully, photos that really felt like us.

Now THAT, that is the best compliment we can receive. Our goal is to always ensure our couple is comfortable in front of the camera. We are honored to have met you two, I mean three! Can’t forget about your sweet malti-poo, Nabi!!!

We had such a blast with Erika + Christian at their engagement session. Their energy is so fun and contagious. I have no doubt that their wedding is going to have high energy and great memories.

Erika + Christian, we are sooo excited to come hang out with you on your wedding day and capture your love for eachother and your love for your friends + family . Its going to be amazing and im definitely bringing tissues.
