We love capturing photos at Markland House at Flagler College because it offers a perfect blend of historic charm, elegant architecture, and lush surroundings—all in a private setting. The grand white columns, wrap-around porches, and towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss create a timeless and romantic backdrop. The soft, natural light enhances every shot, making skin tones glow beautifully. Plus, with two covered spaces—the wrap-around porch and the charming side veranda—it’s an ideal location rain or shine. As a piece of St. Augustine’s rich history, it provides a unique and versatile setting with a mix of grand staircases, gardens, and vintage details—all in one spot.

Please note that a $50 hourly permit is required, and the date and time must be approved in advance. Indoor access is not permitted.
