Casey + Christina Engagement Session| Sarasota, Florida

Happy Thanksgiving week, my friends!! I hope everyone is taking time to enjoy the people in your life. It’s so important to slow down and really appreciate everything and everyone you have. I am extra thankful for my husband. This week isn’t only thanksgiving week for us, it’s also our 7 year anniversary! It’s ALSO the week Casey + Christina are getting married!!! What an AWESOME week! We are truly honored to be a part of a couple’s beginning, especially Casey + Christina’s.

I don’t know if it’s the whole Russian + American thing but being around Casey + Christina, reminded me a lot of when Jerico and I first got married. For some reason, all those memories came rushing back to me. During their engagement session, I looked at them and saw us.

The way that Casey brought out Christina’s confidence was something I really related to. I could just tell that Christina was comfortable, secure, happy. The way they both looked at each other and their eyes would just light up. OH! The way that Casey is able to make Christina smile then giggle then laugh is the BEST. And I know without a shadow of doubt that Casey will NEVER stop trying to make her smile and laugh. He’s definitely not a quitter.

When I asked Christina how she knew Casey was the one for her, she simply answered “ I went away for three days but all I wanted to do was be with him. “ Now isn’t that the sweetest answer?! Just by being around them, we could really tell they just love being together, and quality time was really important to them. Date nights are chick-fil-a, bonfires or cuddling up on the couch.. again, sooo many things in common!

You guyssss! The day is almost here!! I can’t believe it. I feel like it was just yesterday that we had our very first FaceTime double date. And now, we’re finalizing all the little details. We CAN’T wait to witness you two get married and to spend some more time with you! Have an amazing thanksgiving and we’ll see you Friday!! Until then, enjoy your beautiful engagement pictures.
