SPRINGFIELD ENGAGEMENT SESSION | JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA | KRISTIN + ALEX

Band mates ➡️best friends ➡️ high school sweethearts ➡️ fiancees will SOON become husband + wife!! We are so excited for Kristin + Alex to make that last relationship name change.

It all started my freshman year of high school when I meet this cute guy ,who liked to flirt with me sometimes, in marching band. He was a junior and popular with lots of friends which made me feel special.

It wasn't until summer of 2009 when we started to develop stronger feelings for each other. Neither of us wanted to act upon them in fear that the other wouldn't feel the same and we would loose our friendship, but that couldn't have been less true. Instead we had a summer fling which turned into a 10 year loving and growing relationship. The best thing is that throughout all the years we have still remained best friends forever and always <3

I might be biased here since Jerico and I have a similar story, but I truly believe being friends first creates such a strong bond. We absolutely love being around Kristin + Alex. They really are best friends. Their level of respect for each other is inspiring.

I was so happy when Kristin said she wanted to do their engagement session in their neighborhood, Springfield/Downtown Jacksonville, Florida. She has a love for old rustic buildings and loved the idea of incorporating the beautiful murals in Springfield. And we finished the night by catching the sunset over the St.Johns River after they locked a love lock on the Southbank Riverwalk.

And you know what happened? PURE magic.

I’m bringing extra tissues, I have a feeling ill be needing them! Im excited its your wedding week and I’m hopeful that this wont be the last time we see each other! See you soon!
