Habersham, SC Engagement Session| Lea + Jacob
Online dating can be frustrating, am I right?! Online profiles can make it seem like you’re compatible but meeting in person is a totally different experience. Buuuuut, if you’re patient, the right person can come across your profile!
Lea had gone on quite a few dates with many humorous and painful stories from many strange dates. Jacob, on the other hand, went on one date ... with Lea.
When I started dating, my dad would say, “When you know, you'll know.”
I didn't believe it to be honest, and my belief lessened the more and more I dated. But he was right and it was after our first date that I texted one of my closest friends,
"I think I found him.”
All that matters is that they found each other and it was evident after the FIRST date this was exactly what they needed.
It sounds silly to say but it just felt right from the start.
When Lea and I started chatting about their engagement session location, she mentioned her parents’ neighborhood. She said it was cute but boy is “cute” an understatement. It’s like they live in their own little town!!! Think Savannah but a neighborhood! Habersham is full of charming architecture which made it very picturesque. Every corner offered something completely different. It’s like it was created for engagement sessions!!
We started their engagement session near some very cute home near Main Street Marketplace. We then found a gorgeous southern live oak tree that had the sun hitting it just right. We finished off their session on the water. Lea and Jacob love to be outdoors and love to see the sunset together. They sat on a swing and watched the sunset, it was the perfect ending to their engagement session. last week lea posted a few of the swing photos and captioned it
“ In one week, I’ll be Mrs.Mcfadden…sitting on benches watching the sunset, with the person that makes me laugh the most, for all the year to come.”
awwwww how sweet! Lea + Jacob, we are so excited for your wedding at Jekyll Island this weekend. We know it’s going to be better than you could ever imagine. Thank you for trusting us and allowing us to be a part of your wedding day. We cant wait to see you!
