Anna + Matt | Williamsburg Brooklyn Engagement Session| Domino Park
From Colleagues to Soulmates
Hey friends! Get ready to dive into a story that's all about those heart-fluttery feels. We're talking chance encounters and a proposal that's straight out of a rom-com.
Alright, so you know how college is all about late-night cramming sessions and chasing dreams? Well, after surviving all that, Matt and Anna landed in the same workplace. Coincidence? Fate? Who knows! But one thing's for sure —it was the start of an amazing friendship.
Fast forward a bit, and we find Anna + Matt at a concert – none other than Shaggy. Can you imagine the vibe? Music thumping, smiles all around, and there they were, dancing like nobody's watching. Among the laughter and music, something happened- Matt realized he couldn't be just a "friend" in Anna’s life anymore.
Hold on cause here comes the good stuff. Okay, picture this – A couple in love. The city of Love. A proposal. Yeah, you read that right! Matt popped the question in the most romantic city on Earth. Could it be any more dreamy? It was a moment proving that real life is better than fairytales.
As magical as a proposal in Paris is, there's a whole lot of everyday magic happening in their lives. Matt and Anna have mastered the art of enjoying life's simple pleasures together. They have built a beautiful life in NYC. They love trying out new restaurants, cracking up at comedy shows, taking leisurely strolls through Williamsburg’s charming streets, and sipping on coffee on weekend mornings. Sounds like a perfect life.
Although they are getting married in St. Augustine, Florida, they wanted their engagement session to reflect this beautiful life they have created in NYC and who am I to say No to that?!?
Anna + Matt braved the brisk sunrise breeze and met us in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Domino Park. The park features a mix of industrial and modern structures as well as breathtaking views of the New York City skyline and Williamsburg Bridge.
After the park, it was time for a coffee break at a local coffee shop. Nestled in the charming streets of the city, this spot was more than just a café – it was a symbol of the everyday moments that make their relationship special.
As we continued to walk the streets of their neighborhood, we had such a great time getting to know Anna + Matt. They gave us a little insight of what it’s like to live in the big city. How you have to strategically plan your grocery trips. What it’s like to no long own a car. How their date nights include trying out a new restaurant every time.
“He's the funniest person I know and can always make me laugh. He's also the kindest and most selfless person I've ever met! he lights up any room. “
“i love that Anna fits in with everyone, she's everyone's best friend.”
Anna and Matt, we are so excited to celebrate you two become husband and wife. You two are such amazing people and make such a great couple. We apologize that Florida decided to welcome you with a hurricane but I know your wedding day will be absolutely perfect. We cant wait to see you!
xoxo,
Kristina + Jerico
