As wedding photographers, we have the privilege of meeting incredible people and witnessing beautiful love stories unfold. One story that has left a mark on our hearts is that of Candace and JR. Theirs is a tale of answered prayers, deep connections, and shared dreams– basically the epitome of true love.
Candace and JR's lovestory kicked off thanks to mutual connections. Set up by friends who sensed potential sparks, their first encounter ignited something much bigger – an undeniable chemistry that would go on to shape their shared future.
From the very beginning, Candace and JR shared more than just small talk; they dove headfirst into conversations that touched the soul. They talked about everything under the sun—faith, dreams, family, you name it. It's the kind of connection that makes your heart race with excitement and lifts your spirits high.
What makes Candace and JR's love story truly special is the abundance of shared interests and dreams that bind them together. From lazy beach days to cozy mornings spent sipping coffee and reading The Bible, or playing with their adorable puppy Charlie, every moment is a testament to their deep connection and unwavering bond.
When it came to picking a location for their engagement session, Candace and JR knew right away that Washington Oaks State Garden in Palm Coast, Florida, was the place. It was the ideal setting to capture this lovely chapter of their love story. With the sun shining, colorful flowers in full bloom, and their adorable Charlie, adding an extra sprinkle of happiness to the scene, everything felt just perfect.
As we walked around the beautiful park together, we got to know Candace + JR a little better. From the get-go, it was all laughs and good vibes as we wandered through the vibrant garden. Candace and JR? They were an absolute blast! Playful and carefree, it felt less like a photo shoot and more like a fun hangout session with friends. As we chatted and got to know each other better, it was clear that these two were a perfect match, their laughter echoed through the garden, adding an extra layer of joy to the session.
Their affectionate glances and playful gestures made our job easy—they were naturals in front of the camera! And let me tell you, the photos? They turned out absolutely stunning, each one a vibrant snapshot of the love and happiness shared between Candace, JR. (See their photos below!)
After a quick outfit change (because why not?), we headed to the beach access, where the stunning coquina rocks awaited us. Seriously, these rocks added such a cool texture to the beach—it felt like we were transported out of Florida! Candace, JR, and Charlie were all smiles as they walked along the shoreline, embracing the beauty of the moment.
In the midst of it all, we feel incredibly blessed to be a part of their love story—to capture the moments that will become cherished memories for years to come.
