David & Rebecca are proof that love at first sight DOES exist. When you pray for God to send you a wife and believe that He will, once you meet her, you just know! So, why wait? David proposed  4 weeks after meeting Rebecca! And then, Rebecca planned this flawless wedding in a short 5 weeks!! FIVE WEEKS people!! She should get some kind of award! Unfortunately, during the planning, David was living in Atlanta, so he had to help as much as he could through the phone. He also traveled to Jacksonville every other weekend to ensure Rebecca wasn't too overwhelmed with all the planning. But let me tell you, she was determined to have her dream wedding, she had a checklist and was completing tasks daily.

The beautiful October morning finally arrived. The venue was perfectly decorated with aromatic fresh flowers, friends & family filled the halls and Rebecca and David were ready to begin their journey as husband and wife.

Rebecca's dad awaited patiently to see his daughter before he would give her away. You may want to get out the tissues, the images are sure to bring you to tears! 

David & Rebecca decided they wanted to wait to see each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle. They did however do a "first look- no look". They stood on opposite sides of the door, ensuring they wouldn't see each other. Then, David reached over and once their hands touched, both of their faces lit up. At that very moment, all the worries and stresses of the day were gone. They stood hand in hand and took a moment to enjoy each other presence. David then blessed their future marriage in prayer. What a great way to start your life together!

"Tale as old as Time" started to play, Rebecca descended down the stairs. The guests rose to their feet and as everyone awaited to see Rebecca they were also anticipating David's reaction to seeing his stunning bride. His reaction was priceless (there's a picture below). When Rebecca and David were still dating she asked him what he thought his reaction would be as she's walking down the isle and he said, " I'm going to wave to you." And that he did.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife!" was followed by a long pause, a few seconds later you could hear quiet laughter from the guests and finally Rebecca whispered to her dad (who was officiating them) "Dad, what about the kiss?!?". The moment was priceless. It was impossible not to smile. 

Rebecca & David were definitely surrounded by people that loved them.The toasts, the dancing, the interactions with their guests, were all so very personal and sweet. As the night came to an end, the bride & groom said good-bye to their families and friends. This too, was emotional. You see, Rebecca was packed and moving to Atlanta following their honeymoon. It was a very bitter sweet moment for her parents.

Off to Hawaii they went on a well deserved relaxing honeymoon. It was their time to do absolutely nothing and have fun after a jam packed month of strictly wedding planning!
