They met years ago, their lives moving in parallel, each busy with fast-paced careers and responsibilities. It wasn’t until years later that their paths crossed again, and this time, there was no denying the spark. And now, they can't imagine a single day apart.

As wedding photographers, we get to witness love in so many forms, but there is something truly special about Jacqueline and Mark. Their chemistry is effortless—laughter comes easy, smiles are constant, and the way they look at each other tells a story all on its own. We had the privilege of capturing their engagement session right here in St. Augustine, the place where their hearts feel at peace, where the world slows down just enough for them to truly breathe— their happy place.

We started in front of the stunning Lightner Museum, which is actually their wedding venue. Jacqueline smiled as she looked up at the grand building and said, "Next time we're here, we’ll be getting married!" It was a moment filled with excitement and the sweetest anticipation.

From there, we wandered beneath the ancient oaks of Magnolia Avenue.Laughter echoed through the air as they held each other close, completely lost in their own world.

As the sun began to set, we made our way to Vilano Beach, where the pace slowed. The world seemed to pause for a moment, allowing them to take it all in—the beauty of the city where they would soon say “I do” and, more importantly, the love they share. Life moves fast, but love asks us to slow down, to breathe it in, to cherish it.

And that is exactly what we wish for Jacqueline and Mark—a lifetime of stolen moments, of simply embracing each other, of slowing down in the midst of life’s chaos to just be together.
