As wedding photographers, we've had the privilege of witnessing love stories unfold, each one unique and beautiful in it’s own way. Lindsay and Chris share a love story packed with laughter, memorable adventures, and the unmistakable spark that brought them together.
Picture this: It's 2013, and Lindsay, a senior in high school, is hanging out with a friend at UCF in Orlando. Little did she know, she was about to meet someone who would change her life forever. Enter Chris, a charming UCF student who happens to be from Lindsay's hometown. Talk about a small world, right?
Their initial time together didn't unfold in the love-at-first-sight manner. Instead, it was a whirlwind of late-night conversations and laughter, laying the foundation for something extraordinary. Their journey didn't adhere to the traditional path of a typical first date; instead, it developed organically as they spent time together, surrounded by mutual friends in Jacksonville..
For Lindsay and Chris, love wasn't just about grand gestures or extravagant outings; it was found in the simple pleasures of everyday life. From leisurely beach strolls to cozy nights on the couch spent cuddled up with their adorable cat. They cherish the moments spent in each other's company. Lindsay and Chris bonded over everything from football games to trying out the latest craft beers.
What really makes Lindsay and Chris stand out is their genuine admiration for each other. Lindsay's quick wit and sarcasm keeps Chris on his toes, while his kindness and down-to-earth nature brings out the best in her. Together, they're like the dream team - think peanut butter and jelly, cookies with milk, burger and fries - you get the idea.

As we hung out with Lindsay + Chris at their engagement session in St. Augustine, one thing was clear-these two are meant to be. From the moment we started their session, I could sense the playful energy radiating from Lindsay and Chris. They're not just a couple; they're best friends, cat parents, adventure buddies, and each other's biggest cheerleaders.As we talked about their vision for the engagement session, it was clear that they wanted photos that truly reflected who they were as a couple—fun-loving and spontaneous.
Their engagement session began in an alley right next to their wedding venue— talk about setting the scene! And let me tell you, if you're anything like me, your eyes will immediately be drawn to Lindsay's ring. I mean, seriously, Chris knocked it out of the park with that one! That thing is huge, you could see it a mile away. =)
We then made our way down different alleys and of course had to make a few stops on Aviles Avenue—a picturesque street straight out of a postcard. With its cobblestone paths and vibrant buildings, it was the perfect backdrop for some seriously cute photos. Lindsay and Chris didn't hold back—they danced, they twirled, and they laughed until their cheeks hurt. But the real magic happened as the sun began to set and the city came alive with the glow of the Nights of Lights.
As we wrapped up their session, we couldn't help but feel grateful to have been a part of their love story, if only for a brief moment in time. Lindsay and Chris, thank you for allowing us to capture the essence of your love—the laughter, the playfulness, and the sheer magic that makes your relationship so special.
