Hey friends! Alex + Angela were our first wedding of this year and we couln't have dreamed for a better wedding!
Both bride + groom truly enjoyed their wedding day from the moment they woke up to the moment we said our good-byes in the Dairy Queen parking lot! Angela's infectious smile NEVER left her face! As most brides, Angela has been waiting patiently for this day to come. But, she has been a bridesmaid 14 times, FOURTEEN times! If that doesnt tell you how great of a person Angela is, then i don't know what else could! It was finally her turn to put the beautiful white dress on and marry the man of her dreams. And boy oh boy did she look STUNNING!!
I would describe their wedding as boho, fun & intimate! I love how their shared love for Disney was intertwined throughout their details. It was done with such finesse that most guests probably didn't even notice! Check out Angela's super cute, custom Tangled- themed loafers that she switched into for reception!! How cute are they?! The groom, bride and each bridesmaid had their very own Disney pins hidden in their bouquets and the groom had it inside his jacket! Alex's pin is Ellie and Carl from "Up" kissing! Awwwwwwwww.
Market 31 did a phenomenal job at making Angela's dream come to life with the florals, custom signs & decor. Every person that walked into the Pioneer Barn had the same reaction: their eyes lit up and all they could say was " WOW!" The barn made such a chic presence that complimented Angela so well. Also, did you notice that Angela had a beautiful veil for ceremony but a floral crown for reception?!? Isn't that just genius?! A more traditional look for the ceremony and then a fun/ relaxed look for reception!
Speaking of ceremony, this one happened to be an extremely emotional ceremony that included personalized vows! Yep, Alex + Angela are one of the few and the brave that wrote and recited their own vows. Not a dry eye! And to continue on the topic of being personal, let me give Alex's brother, Jordan, a shout out. This man made the guests smile, laugh, cry & then belly laugh again with his best man speech! I sure hope someone got a video of this! if you do, go ahead and send it to Angela, right now!
Ok, so we have a super emotional ceremony, an unforgettable best man speech and then we had the moment most guests will remember.... The moment " Everybody" by the Backstreet Boys came on and EVERY. SINGLE. GUEST. was on the dance floor with their hands in the air! I've never seen that many people sing along to any song with so much happiness and passion. It was totally unexpected yet totally necessary. ( and now you have that song stuck in your head, you welcome)
A little side note about this moment. But jerico and I were on the dance floor and we are completely caught off guard with the amount of people that are now dancing/jumping/ singing with their hands in the air that we both made eye contact. A cool thing about married couples, eye contact is a form of communication. I knew that he wanted me to get in the middle of everyone and get that angle and knew that he was going to try to find a higher/ better angle. Next thing i see is him running to the other side of the barn, jumping up on the bench and thats when it happened... it was at this very moment that Jerico ripped his pants! hahaha YEP, that really happened! but he didn't even care! He got the shot and continued to dance on.
ahhh what a great wedding!
We have had the honor of capturing Alex's surprise proposal, their zoo engagement session and now their wedding. Alex and Angela, It was sad to say our good-byes but we knew you were ready to finally live in the same city! We miss you both dearly and are sooooo happy we were able to be apart of your beautiful love story! It was an honor and we truly consider you guys as close friends! I hope you NEVER get tired of looking through your wonderful day! #bestdayever
