KIRK + DANIELLE WEDDING | ST. AUGUSTINE LIGHT HOUSE| ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA
One of my favorite things about wedding photography is not only are we a part of someone's lifetime of memories but I love that we get to spend an entire day serving our couple. We get to completely forget about ourselves and fully devote our time and attention to our beautiful couple and their friends and family. It's such an amazing and rewarding feeling!
Living selflessly comes easy when you're around people like Kirk and Danielle. Their relationship was built on a christian foundation and their wedding story includes a powerful healing story that includes their wedding venue, the St. Augustine lighthouse.
Both Kirk and Danielle had medical conditions that prevented them from being able to be physically active, let alone make it to the top of the lighthouse. However, on January 14, just four months prior to their wedding, they were both healed of their pain through prayer.For the first time, they, together, made it to the top of the lighthouse!!! I can't think of a more beautiful way to start their lives together than to experience a healing miracle together.
Their wedding day was as inspiring and beautiful as their testimony and love story! Danielle and Kirk decided to go for an intimate outdoor summer ceremony and were surrounded by their closet friends, family and mentors. Danielle's infectious smile radiated throughout the entire ceremony.
What I loved most about their ceremony was that they wanted communion to be the first thing that they did as husband and wife! Talk about starting your marriage off right! OH! Another thing they did that I've never seen before: after they were pronounced husband and wife ( and did communion & kissed) they DANCED down the aisle, grabbing guests as they passed by! how FUN!
Danielle + Kirk, we loved getting to know you and ill never forget getting goosebumps as you told me your healing story and how all your wedding plans came together, even us.. I love that our name, Walls of Jerico, is what caught your attention. Everything came together so beautifully and I hope your pictures bring back all the wonderful memories for years to come. I hope that every time you look through your wedding pictures or just reminisce about your wedding day, that you are reminded what God has done for you and that He is faithful and NOTHING is impossible for Him!
