Mike + Briana Engagement Session| St. Augustine Lighthouse, Florida

Oh what a fun, adventurous, busy ( in a good way) summer we have had. We are completely blown away at the amount of people that are trusting us with their memories. This feeling will NEVER get old. Thank you to all of our amazing couples!

Speaking of couples, I met Briana earlier this year when we took her Nursing graduation pictures. (Thank you to all the nurses out there! What you do is definitely not easy and unfortunately, under appreciated.) I am so proud of her for graduating and landing her dream job! Then, about a month later, I get a text from Briana. It was just a picture. No words. Her + Mike. smiling. Oh, did I not mention the beautiful ring that was on her finger?!?!? I freaked out! How exciting!

I don’t know about you but when I read blogs like this mentioning graduating, starting a dream job and engagements, I always wonder how long the couple waits to get married. I mean, talk about a lot of change! Going from full time school to a full time job. Briana didn’t let that scare her! She planned her wedding in 4, yes FOUR months! YOU GO GIRL! Talk about setting goals and reaching them!

You know me, I’m such a sucker for a great love story. We all have a first job memory. Whether you loved it or hated it, you remember it! I think it’s safe to say that Briana will NEVER forget her first job since it’s where she met Mike! Not only did she meet him at her first job but she met Mike on her very first day on the job! Talk about WANTING to go to work every day! You want to know where her first job was, don’t ya?! They were both life guards! (hence the picture on the lifeguard chair). Such a cute memory!

So, not only do they have a memorable meeting story, they now have a memorable proposal story to tell. Mike sent Briana on a “scavenger hunt” at all their favorite places ending at St. Augustine Beach where Mike was waiting to propose. Briana saved all of her notes and will keep them forever as a memory.

Want to guess where we did their engagement session?! Yup, in St. Augustine. The pictures at the beach are actually where Mike proposed! It’s their favorite beach spot, and now, mine too!

Mike and Briana, it’s WEDDING WEEK!!!!!!! In just a few days, you two will become husband and wife and I will cry my eyes out. This will the biggest and best change in your lives! We are extremely happy and excited for you and can’t wait to see you!!! See you soon, Mr. and soon to be Mrs. Kelly!
