SAMUEL + KAILEY| ST. AUGUSTINE + WASHINGTON OAKS ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Whew, engagement season has been strong for us this year! What a privilege to meet people and use photography to tell their story, not what we think is their story, but truly, their story. Getting to know our couples is our number ONE goal! We want your images to reflect you as a couple.

One thing that always intrigues me, is how our couples find us. And the story of how Kailey found us is quite interesting. Jerico + I were doing a lifestyle in home newborn session for our good friend. While we were calming the sweet baby girl, my friend snapped a picture of Jerico + I and posted it to HER instagram. One of her friends that she used to work with in Daytona came across her picture and clicked on our page and made the decision to contact me!  Crazy right? The power of social media. 

Back to Kailey & Sam.  Im going to paint you a picture of how these two met. 

Kailey and her friends arrive to a gathering. They are all having a great time. All of a sudden, Kailey's eyes are directed towards the staircase. The music softens. She stands there and stares at Sam as he proceeds down the stairs ( in slow motion, of course). All she can think is " OOOO who's that?! I wonder if he's single!" Kailey approaches Sam (you go girl!) and her confidence immediately grabs his attention. 

After a few more get togethers, Kailey and Sam started dating (8 year to be exact) and then Sam proposed to Kailey at their favorite place, Epcot! How cute is that?!? Kailey and Sam are the perfect duo. They're like sprinkles on ice-cream. Sure they are good individually but together, man are they perfect! 

Kailey and Sam chose to have their engagement session in St. Augustine because when they lived in Daytona, they used to come to St. Augustine on dates. We had so much fun walking through the beautiful and historic streets of St. Augustine! The day was beautiful although it was a little chillier than expected but these two didn't let anything stop them from having a great time! They even got a little wet at the beach and I know they were freezing, but not one complaint! You guys are AMAZING!!

One of the words that Kailey used to describe her vision for her wedding day was: enchanted. What is more enchanted than Washington Oaks State Park and Gardens?! I mean, they  look like they are part of a fairytale! This park is a beautiful representation of how perfect of a team Kailey and Sam are! Just like the garden, Kailey is beautiful, delicate, and delightful. And just like the ocean, Sam is strong, calm and reliable. A perfect pair. 

I can't believe it's almost your wedding day already! We are sooooo excited to be there with you two and Kailey, I can't wait to see you in your dress!! I think I'm gonna cry! You're going to look stunning and it's going to be a perfect day! See you soon!!
