HYATT GRAND CYPRESS WEDDING | DAVID + JENNY | ORLANDO, FLORIDA
If you’re in Florida, like us, you know we’ve been experiencing some unusually hot weather. But not even the 100 degree weather brought down Jenny’s mood for her beautiful wedding at the Hyatt Grand Cypress Hotel in Orlando, Florida this past Sunday! It was an absolute JOY to be with Jenny and David on their wedding day!!
It seems like yesterday, we were getting to know David and Jenny during their engagement session on UF campus. Jenny and David had been engaged and planning a wedding for the last 3 years so you better believe that they were ready to see this day happen!! Actually, when we started taking David’s formal pictures, he whispered “I feel the butterflies” it HIT him- IT’S HAPPENING!!! David’s love for Jenny is so evident in every interaction he has with her. David blew us away with his personal vows he recited to Jenny and Jenny’s vows definitely made me tear up too!
Jenny and David had a Greek/Jewish wedding that seamlessly intertwined the two so perfectly. The ceremony held the Jewish traditions including, Ketubah Signing, the Chuppah, seven blessings, and the breaking of the glass! The reception had traditional Greek music and dancing, lots of “OPA!” moments and there was definitely cash being thrown in the air at the bride and groom while they were dancing. We loved feeling the excitement their friends and family had for them and seeing the two cultures merge was beautiful.
David and Jenny had such a unique and unexpected moment in their reception that had them both smiling and laughing! David’s dad surprised the newlywed’s with a juggling act (side not, David is a world known juggler) that incorporated the “laws and rules of marriage.” The entire juggling act corresponded to marriage advice in a very true yet fun way. All of the guests were thoroughly entertained, to say the least.
David and Jenny, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your perfect day. Your trust in us is such a compliment! We hope these photos bring smiles to your faces every time you look through them.
