JACKSONVILLE WEDDING | BRAD + EMILY| JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
“That was the most fun wedding we’ve ever been to” you want to know who said that? It was the BRIDE AND GROOM! That’s a direct quote from a little video they sent us, a day after their wedding. “We wanted to stay, to keep hanging out with people. I think we left later than we even planned.” To all of us in the wedding industry, that’s honestly the biggest compliment. All we want to know is that you loved your day as much as we did!
Emily + Brad have the sweetest love story, you can read up on it here from their engagement session blog. Their first kiss EVER was at the altar! How amazing is that?!? Their relationship has always been Christ centered and I pray that it continues to stay that way. I love that Pastor Aaron married you two, the same pastor that led Brad to Christ and guided you both while you were dating. I love that you both incorporated and honored your family at your wedding. I loved the bible verses and the “I love you, I love you more” signs leading up to the ceremony location. I love that you both wrote personal vows to one another which included “letting him win monopoly every once in a while.” I love that you were present in your day and truly enjoyed it. I love that you didn’t want to leave. Your entire wedding had Brad and Emily written all over it, it was romantic, intimate and fun. It was absolutely perfect.
Emily and Brad decided to go with one of our favorite wedding teams, Market31 Events for their full design, styling, floral and coordinating. Before we even walked in, we knew it was going to be beautiful but when I actually saw it all come together, I was blown away. They went above and beyond and made everyone forget they were in a church. Yep, this entire wedding was in a church!! Go ahead, check out the photos, just don’t forget to come back and read the rest =).
“As stylists, our goal is always to transform a venue into a space that feels unique to the couple- even if their venue is a weekly-visited, (seemingly) overwhelming church rotunda and a secluded wooded outdoor pavilion. Two very different (but equally lovely) spaces needed to become cohesive, and intimately personalized. We worked with the Matos’s to design a look a feel that was stunning, trendy, and beautiful unique to them.
During the design process, Emily was drawn to a Modern Romantic look with a lush, deep red pallet. With luxurious cherry crushed velvet we pulled the focus to the sweetheart stage and utilized the unique circular space for the reception tables- putting the spacious dance floor as the “center of the party”. The rotunda provided gorgeous lighting and a beautiful modern atmosphere for reception.” - Gabrielle with Market31 Events.
Brad and Emily, may God bless you both on your new adventure! It was a privilege and pleasure to get to document the first day of your new life together. You two are far more mature than your age and Jerico and I have a great deal of respect for you. You are two beautiful people, in love, at the beginning of their life, ready to change the world… together. We are so grateful for the trust you placed in us and are so excited to share some of our favorite moments and memories with you.
This day wouldn't be possible without the talent and love of these amazing vendors:
