Hannah Park Engagement Session | Markus + Lauren | Jacksonville, Florida

"So you want to know the craziest thing I've learned about you over the last two years is?" "What's that" and he says "That I don't want to do the rest of my life without you.  Lauren Nicole Slavens, will you marry me?"  Better than movies, you guys, BETTER THAN MOVIES… because this is REAL! Those were the words that Markus used to propose to the love of his life, Lauren.

Lauren and Markus met in their church parking lot as they were getting ready to leave for Ichetucknee Springs with the young adult group. On that trip, they ended up talking to each other for 5 hours straight! And from that day on, they kept talking, started to date and dated for 2 years and thats when that memorable proposal happened.

As you can tell, the proposal was super thought out and planned. Markus had their families involved and totally pulled it off without Lauren knowing. After dinner, they went to Hannah Park. Little did Lauren know that this walk on the beach would be the most memorable walk in her life. And you wanna know something crazy, right before he said “So you want to know the craziest thing I've learned about you over the last two years is?” they saw dolphins in the oceans! I mean if that isn’t a magical build up, I don’t know what is!

We did their engagement session at Hannah Park, for obvious reasons. It was absolutely perfect- the large dunes + the boardwalk + their AMAZING chemistry created some beautiful images!

Lauren and Markus, we are super excited for you both. THIS Saturday, you’ll be officially husband and wife!! AHHHHHH! Life is about to get soooo much better!! Markus, I can’t wait to see your bow tie and Lauren I can’t wait to see you all dressed and ready to marry your man!
