JACKSONVILLE GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING | LAUREN + MARKUS| JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA
Lauren and Markus got married this past Saturday. From meeting in the church parking lot to now being pronounced husband and wife in that same church was very special and sentimental. Let me say, the ceremony was absolutely beautiful, it was held in the church Lauren grew up in! I could tell It was very special to her, I caught her and her parents crying on multiple occasions. I loved watching Lauren’s parents, they sat there with full attention and smiles on their faces, watching their daughter marry the man that is perfect for her. Lauren and Markus stood there, in front of God and 200 people, declaring their love for each other. Vowing to love each other, take care of each other and to always put God first. Lauren + Markus, your perspective on marriage is honorable.
Lauren and Markus chose Jacksonville Golf and Country Club for their reception. It was absolutely perfect for the number of guests they had. Everyone fit comfortably and it gave us lots of options for their photos. One thing I will NEVER forget from their wedding is the best man’s speech. Markus’ best man was his brother, Collin. Collin talked about how their favorite movie growing up was Toy Story and how awesome it was to go see the new one together since they now live in different states. (ps. if you haven’t seen Toy Story 4, you totally should!) Anyways, Collin then proceeded to talk about Markus and Lauren through their dating stage. Then, what seemed to be random, Collin asked Markus for his shoe. You might see where this is going but I had no idea what to expect. He then flips the shoe to show us the sole. [insert tears] it had “Lauren” written on it. “Markus, you now belong to Lauren” I mean… WHAT?!?! of course I cried! Thats sooo sweet!
You guys, Markus totally did an outfit change for reception. You’ve got to check it out! He went from a Black Tail Tux to a White tux! I love that Markus’ love for bowties was incorporated into his wedding. All men, including the father of the bride and groom, wore bow ties.
Lauren and Markus, you were surrounded by your closest friends and family and had the time of your life. We loved watching your excitement grow throughout the day. Your feet probably hurt from all that dancing! Thank you for trusting us and more importantly, treating us like family. We loved celebrating with you. We’re excited for your future, we know that you’ll do some great things together. We are excited to share these photos with you. We hope they flood you with beautiful memories and flashbacks. Enjoy your honeymoon!! We hope to see you soon! xoxo Kristina + Jerico
