CASEY + SARAH WEDDING| TAMPA FIREFIGHTERS MUSEUM| TAMPA, FLORIDA
Hey there, my friends! This is the first blog of the year and boy do we have some gorgeousness to share with you today! This wedding has quickly become a new favorite!! We had the pleasure of capturing Casey and Sarah's gorgeous wedding at the Tampa Firefighters Museum in Tampa, Florida alongside an amazing creative team, and we loved every minute of it!!!
Fair warning before you keep reading any further: prepare for photo overload. There are just too many great ones not to share!
Casey and Sarah, we love you guys! We love your families, they totally made us feel like we were a part of your family!! And we love your love. From the moment we met you guys earlier last year and got to know you and hear about your plans for your wedding (and your future), we couldn’t wait for this day to come. And ps. we LOVED and MISS our FaceTime dates! Anyways, you two are kind beyond words and joyful beyond belief. Those two things alone made it an honor and pleasure to serve you all day, every step of the way.
You guys are perfect together, in every aspect! Let's start with the obvious, you look perfect together. Guys, these two TOTALLY look like Ken and Barbie! Go ahead, scroll down and look at them, just don't forget to come back and finish reading =) You two both have caring and welcoming hearts. Casey, you save people for a living for crying out loud. You put yourself in situations everyone else runs away from! And Sarah, your heart is SO big and kind. You are eagerly looking for a career to help people in ANY way possible! I love that about you! And you both compliment each other with your personalities. Casey, your calm and "go with the flow" personality goes so perfectly with Sarah's type A, "let's do this" personality! I know for a fact that no-one knows how to make Sarah feel safe and stress-free like Casey can!
Casey and Sarah knew Tampa's firefighters museum would be the perfect venue for them. As you probably already assumed, Casey is a firefighter. But that's not the only reason they booked this venue. The venue offered a historical feel through the exposed brick, the vintage fire trucks and the original hardwood floors. And I loved the layout! Ceremony downstairs and reception, upstairs.
I'm so impressed how Sarah incorporated the color red so seamlessly throughout the wedding to fit the beautiful venue! From the red in her GORGEOUS bouquet, to the flowers in her hair and the super cute fire truck that the ring bearer carried! It wasn't overpowering, it was subtle and strategic. The firefighter theme carried throughout the wedding. Sarah had the Maltese cross on her garter as well as on top of their cake. And we can't forget about the fireman's pole that got a lot of attention during the dancing!! Majority of their guests were also firefighters so they fully took advantage of the fireman's pole. A little side note, I'm 100% convinced that during their down time in the firehouse, they have full on dance battles! FULLY convinced! These guy had some dance moves!
And let's take a moment to talk about Sarah's beautiful lace gown! It fit as if it were made specifically for you! You can tell this girl works out. No one can deny that you looked ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!
Oh, and let's not forget the delicious mini donuts! How genius to have mini donuts! Grab one, grab two, heck, try them all! There were probably close to 10 different flavors. Those bad boys had us hooked! (We actually visited Sarah and Casey about a month after their wedding and we just HAD to make a stop at The Mini Donut Factory together!)
Details and venue aside, Casey and Sarah were the real reason we’d been looking forward to this wedding for so long. They are such a class act. So kind, so loving, truly perfect together. We are honored to call you our friends and plan on having many trips to Tampa to visit!
We're actually a little sad to click the “Publish” button on this blog... it means it's. all. OFFICIALLY. over. Don't get me wrong, we are super excited that you two are married and LOVED every second of your gorgeous wedding. BUT, I'm soooooo gonna miss seeing your faces on my computer screen! You have no idea how much you two made us smile, laugh, cry (that first dance man! and EVERY time I hear Ed Sheehan's song, Perfect, I IMMEDIATELY think of you two! ) and even squeal (because y'all are so freakin hot)! We hope you love your memories as much as we loved documenting them for you. We miss you dearly and look forward to a double date soon!
