P.S. We've acutally never had our picture taken. On Janurary 1, 2017, we finally made it happen. We got dressed, went to the Town Center, set up the camera and asked Jerico's brother to take the picture.
** A little side note: since we are a husband and wife duo, to keeps things simple, assume Kristina is writing the blog. Jerico will be adding some info here and there but he will indicate he is blogging.
J+K=WOJ (Jerico +Kristina = Walls of Jerico) is a series of blogs I will be posting in hopes that our readers are able to connect with us and feel as if they really do know us. There's no way we would be able to tell you our story in just one post. Every Sunday night, a new blog post will be added to this series.
Our goals for this blog are to share other people's stories, help & educate aspiring photographers, meet people, motivate entrepreneurs, create community, support local businesses, encourage BIG dreams & to convince you to chase those dreams.
Walls of Jerico Photography is a husband (Jerico Warner) and wife (Kristina Warner) wedding photography duo based in Jacksonville, Florida. We strongly believe and stand for marriage. Marriage is: sacred, hard, forever, work, fun ,24/7, unfashionable, vulnerable, a promise, wonderful, a verb & the best part is you get to do life with your best friend!
Outside of our business, we are your typical Filipino/Russian couple. =) (I'd love to know if there are any other F/R couples out there). We met in high school (see picture below- hehehe) and have been married for 5 years now. We have an amazing son named Malakai, who is a HUGE part of our lives. He is the reason we work so hard and always strive for the best. Together we learn, we have fun ,we travel & we each capture it all on camera. Yep, even Kai has a digital camera.

We love being able to tell stories through our images. We all see the same world but everyone gets to choose what they want to see. We choose to focus on the good. My favorite part of photography is seeing the pictures Jerico takes. It's as if I get to see the world through his eyes. For example, we have one couple in front of us holding a pose, we both take a shot yet we NEVER produce the same image. He will get a wide shot while I choose to take a tight shot. He will shoot portrait and I shoot landscape; we are able to capture the same moment but with different perspectives (below is an example).

It's been about 7 years since I've (Kristina) really written anything more than a caption or a thank you card (by the way, I LOVE "snail mail"). so, you're basically reading my unedited, hand written journal.
